Worden's Ledges Rock Carvings

The Hinckley Reservation is sometimes referred to as the pendant of the "Emerald Necklace" that encompasses the greater Cleveland area. Hidden in the woods behind 859 Ledge Road in Hinckley, Ohio lies many sandstone carvings seen by few. The carvings are nestled among the ledges once owned by the Worden family. The carvings, which date back to 1944, are preserved in breathtaking condition. All it takes for you to experience the carvings for yourself is a short walk through the woods. It is a great way to spend a nice summer day and view the elaborate art of the carver, Noble Stuart. The ledges are a great place for family outings, picnics, and quiet reflection.
